St Lawrence Country Guesthouse

The Food

Breakfast is served daily from 8.30 – 9.30 a.m. in the conservatory, with its wonderful views over the Ritec Valley to the sea and beyond to Caldey Island.

Slightly earlier breakfasts can be arranged with 24hrs prior notice.

We have two greenhouses where we grow our own produce without using pesticides and chemicals, and our eggs whenever possible come from ”Our Girls”!  Our two orchards of apple, pear, plum, cherry and quince trees, together with the raspberry, blackcurrant, redcurrant, strawberry, blueberry, blackberry and gooseberry bushes (phew!) provide our guests with fresh fruit during their respective seasons.   Getting your five-a-day is no problem with us!

Meat, out of season and supplementary produce is sourced locally to support the community and to reduce our carbon footprint.

Philip is renowned for his handmade “artisan” breads – a different one for every day.  We also bake our own bread for toasting and offer a selection of our homemade preserves, marmalades and Pembrokeshire honey.

Vegetarian breakfasts are available – prior notice is not essential but is appreciated.

A spacious comfortable lounge is available for guests to sit and finish their tea or coffee after breakfast, or alternatively they can go through the double doors  from the conservatory and sit on the terrace to soak up the glorious Pembrokeshire sunshine.

We are sorry but we do not provide evening meals.  However, the area is well served by a range of restaurants, pubs and cafes and we are happy to provide recommendations from other guests who have stayed with us.

We do offer packed lunches and picnic hampers upon request with a day’s notice.

We are a licenced establishment and a selection of alcholic & non-alcholic drinks and snacks are on offer from the fridge in the main hallway.
